Welwyn Garden City Bowls Club is not just a bowls club, but a community hub. The club hosts social and educational events at its own pavilion and in the adjacent Digswell Park Sports Association (DPSA) club house. We welcome new bowlers and social Members.
Bowls Events
  • A good day was had by all on Sunday 24th June in the club mixed fours competition. In very warm conditions and with the green bowling very fast, there was some very competitive and good spirited bowls played. Each group went down to the final matches to decide the finalists. Congratulations to Keith Ames, Gerry Gladwell, Gary Walton & Tony Seeby (who won group 1) and Stewart Parkhouse, Allan Budge, Roy Avery & Paula Martin (who won group 2). The two teams will now meet on finals day for the championship.

Thank you to James Avery (with assistance from Roy Avery). Who organised a great event, and made it such an enjoyable day.
